1979 Panther Lima Series 2 - one of approx 300 ever produced. Unlike many similar shaped cars the Panther is not a kit car, but rather hand built by the Panther Westwinds company in Surrey. It has a Fibreglass Body so never any issues with rust. The Series 2 which was produced from 1978 - 1980 differed from the Series 1 in that it had a tubular steel frame, which was an improvement on the Vauxhall Viva Floorplan of the previous model. Powered by a Vauxhall Magnum 2.3 engine developing 108 BHP - giving a very impressive power-to-weight ratio. This car came to Ireland in 1993 with it's owner who was transferring residence. It has remained in the same family ever since and has been garaged for all of those 30 years. NCT exempt and eligible for vintage motor tax rate - €56.
