Another new Chinese competitor enters the fray
XPENG is the latest brand to enter the Irish electric vehicle (EV) market, bringing a new option for buyers looking to embrace electric mobility. Distributed by Motor Distributors Limited (MDL), XPENG launches in Ireland with the G6 Coupé SUV, a four-door model designed to offer a combination of technology, performance, and practicality.

Inside, the G6 features a minimalist design with soft-touch materials, an uncluttered dashboard, and spacious rear seating. The 571-litre boot expands to 1,374 litres with the rear seats folded.
The XPENG G6 launches in Ireland with a starting price of €42,000 for the Standard Range and €49,440 for the Long Range, inclusive of grants and incentives. The Performance model is set to arrive in Q3 2025.
XPENG vehicles will initially be sold through XPENG South Dublin, with plans for a nationwide dealer network. Future models expected to follow include the XPENG G9 SUV, P7 Sedan, and P7+ Fastback Sedan.
