Volvo Cuts Prices and Updates Specs Across 2025 Line-Up

Volvo Car Ireland has announced significant pricing and specification updates across its range for the new model year, including a notable €3,255 price reduction on its fully electric EX40 and EC40 models. These vehicles now start at €48,990*, offering a more competitive entry point into the premium electric SUV space.

The updates come as Volvo also launches a refreshed version of its best-selling XC60, with revised styling, enhanced user experience, and an updated infotainment system. The XC60 plug-in hybrid is now available to order with a starting price of €67,145 and delivery scheduled for July.

EX40 & EC40: More Value, Same Premium Performance
The all-electric EX40 and EC40 continue to offer strong performance and range — up to 576km and 569km respectively*** — with Google built-in and versatile interior storage.
Key updates include:

• New starting price: €48,990* (down €3,255)

• PCP finance from 1.95%**

• New colour options: Aurora Silver, Forest Lake, and Denim Blue

• Expanded Black Edition colours: Crystal White, Denim Blue, Vapour Grey

Refreshed XC60: A Sophisticated Upgrade
Volvo’s most popular model, the XC60, sees a host of enhancements to both design and technology. The latest version features:

• New front air intake and darker rear lights

• Updated infotainment system for faster responsiveness

• Starting price: €67,145

• PCP finance from 3.95%**

• New colours: Forest Lake, Aurora Silver, and Mulberry Red

• Expanded Black Edition range with high gloss finishes and unique alloy design

The Black Edition styling continues to be a standout across the lineup, now available in more colours beyond the standard Onyx Black. It includes high-gloss black badging, 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, and a refined microtech charcoal interior.
