The ID. EVERY1 show car gives a first glimpse of the €20,000 electric Volkswagen
Volkswagen has introduced the ID. EVERY1 show car, an all-electric entry-level model that is set for release in 2027 with an expected starting price of around €20,000. This vehicle is part of the brand’s new Electric Urban Car Family and is built on the innovative modular electric drive platform (MEB) with front-wheel drive. Designed to offer affordable and efficient electric mobility, the ID. EVERY1 combines a compact design with a range of at least 250 km and a top speed of 130 km/h. Measuring 3,880 mm in length, it is positioned between the former up! and the ID. 2all, offering space for four people and a luggage compartment volume of 305 litres.
Volkswagen’s entry into the affordable electric vehicle market aims to meet the growing demand for sustainable mobility without compromising on quality or space. The ID. EVERY1, along with the ID. 2all—launching in 2026 for under €25,000 - will be part of Volkswagen's broader strategy to offer a diverse range of electric, hybrid, and combustion-engine vehicles by 2026, catering to a wide customer base. This model will also introduce a new software architecture, allowing owners to update and customize their vehicle with new functions throughout its lifecycle.
Volkswagen's long-term goal is to become the world’s leading high-volume manufacturer of innovative and safe vehicles by 2030, and the ID. EVERY1 is a key part of this vision, showcasing the brand’s commitment to affordable, sustainable transportation in the electric era.
