Volkswagen have revealed the all-new third generation Tiguan. Based on the latest MQB evo platform, the new model will be available as a plug-in hybrid with a range of up to 100km and fast charging capabilities. The interior has been redesigned with a new Digital Cockpit, infotainment screen, head-up display, and an OLED-equipped driving experience switch.
The new Tiguan also gets a striking new exterior design , improved aerodynamics, and some new advanced safety systems including adaptive chassis control DCC Pro, HD matrix headlights, and the latest Park Assist. It will be available in a wide range of drive trains including petrol, diesel, PHEV and mild Hybrid, with talk of a fully electric model in the future. Now slightly longer than the previous model, the already generous boot capacity has grown to 652l. The new Tiguan will be available in Irish dealerships in the first quarter of 2024 with prices yet to be announced.
