Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport | On the Track at Mondello Park featuring Nicole Drought | CarsIreland.ie

Made to celebrate 40 years of GTI, the Volkswagen Golf Clubsport is the most powerful version ever.

Overview

Overview

The Golf GTI turned 40 recently and to celebrate, they gave us the gift of the Clubsport. Which was really very sound of them.

As well as a power output of 265 PS and a 0-100km time of just 6.3 seconds – it’s been given special Clubsport styling including 18’’ Belvedere Alloy wheels, alcantara GTI sports seats, and best of all, the beautiful flat bottom GTI steering wheel complete with a red twelve hour marker. A special overboost function can see the power rise to a frightening 290 PS.

We'll skip the boot space talk on this one because underneath it's still a Golf and so there is no sacrifice on practicality, safety, or anything at all really.

We're not exactly playing it cool here but the Clubsport is in our opinion, close to motoring perfection.
