Fully electric C-HR+ will arrive in Ireland in late 2025, offering up to 600km of range

Overview

Toyota has revealed the all-new C-HR+, a fully electric SUV set to launch in Ireland in late 2025. Expanding Toyota’s battery electric vehicle (BEV) lineup, the C-HR+ combines a coupe-SUV design with practical interior space and a choice of two battery options, offering a maximum range of up to 600km.

Design and Practicality

The C-HR+ retains the distinctive styling of the hybrid C-HR but features a dedicated electric vehicle platform. Its coupe-like roofline, wide stance, and full-LED lighting give it a modern, aerodynamic look while maintaining rear passenger headroom and 416 litres of cargo space.

Inside, the cabin is designed for comfort and technology, featuring ambient lighting, a 14-inch multimedia display, and improved visibility.

Battery and Performance

The C-HR+ will be available with:

  • 57.7 kWh battery (167hp, front-wheel drive)
  • 77 kWh battery (224hp, front-wheel drive)

The estimated maximum driving range is up to 600km (WLTP), depending on battery size and driving conditions. Features like battery pre-conditioning and an energy-efficient heat pump are included to optimise charging and range in various weather conditions.

Technology and Safety

The C-HR+ includes Toyota’s latest T-Mate safety features, such as:

  • Toyota Safety Sense
  • Blind Spot Monitor
  • Adaptive High-Beam System
  • Parking Support Brake
  • Park Assist & Panoramic View Monitor (Premier grade)

The navigation system offers real-time charge station locations and route planning based on battery level. Owners can also monitor charging and driving data through the MyToyota app.

Battery Warranty and Availability

Toyota offers a Battery Care Programme, covering the battery for up to 10 years or one million kilometres, subject to annual health checks.

Interested buyers in Ireland can register their interest at Toyota.ie ahead of its late 2025 launch.
