The highly anticipated Renault 5 E-Tech Electric leads Renault’s 2025 lineup, which introduces several new models for the French manufacturer this year.

In January, the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric was named Car of the Year 2025 by the European Car of the Year jury, consisting of 60 motoring journalists from 23 countries. This follows Renault’s previous win in 2024 with the Scenic E-Tech Electric.

Now fully electric, the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric is available at dealerships nationwide, starting from €25,995 or €225 per month with PCP finance from MFS.

The model is offered with two battery options: a 40kWh battery with a 120bhp motor, delivering up to 310km WLTP range, and a 52kWh battery with a 150bhp motor, offering up to 410km. Three trim levels are available for the 40kWh version: evolution (€25,995), techno (€27,995), and iconic (€29,995), while the 52kWh version comes in techno (€30,995) and iconic (€32,995). All prices include the SEAI grant.

Standard features include Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, an Arkamys speaker system, and automatic LED headlights. Higher trims add features such as Google Built-in, EV Route Planning, a rearview camera, hands-free parking, and heated seats. All models come with 18-inch wheels.

The Renault 5 E-Tech Electric is equipped with an 11kW AC bi-directional charger with V2L (vehicle-to-load) capability, allowing power to be supplied to external devices. Charging times vary, with the 52kWh battery taking 3 hours and 13 minutes to charge from 15% to 80% on an 11kW AC charger, or 30 minutes using 100kW DC fast charging.

Five exterior colors are available, including Pop Yellow! and Pop Green!, inspired by Renault’s 1970s lineup, along with Pearl White, Starry Black, and Midnight Blue. Two-tone paint options are offered on select trims.

Beyond dealerships, the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric can also be viewed at the Renault Store in Dundrum Town Centre, a new retail concept designed to showcase Renault’s latest models and technology.

“The Renault Store at Dundrum is a pioneering car retail concept, the first of its kind in Dundrum Town Centre, designed to highlight Renault’s ongoing transformation, known as the ‘Renaulution.’ Over the past four years, Renault has dramatically evolved its lineup, launching eight new models in a very short space of time that feature bold new design, cutting-edge technology, and a strong commitment to electrification. This transformation has already led to significant success, with Renault securing the prestigious European Car of the Year title for two consecutive years, Irish Car of the Year title for Renault Scenic and International Van of the Year for the Renault Master.

The Renault Store @ Dundrum aims to introduce this new era of Renault to the public, engaging new audiences and reshaping perceptions of the brand,” said Seamus Morgan, Managing Director, Cedar Motors Ireland.

Since opening in mid-January, the Renault Store has recorded over 20,000 visitors. Located on Level 1 of Dundrum Town Centre, it is open seven days a week, offering an opportunity to explore Renault’s latest EV range and consult with experts on charging, range, and ownership.
