Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric Irish Car of the Year 2025

The Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric has been named as the 2025 Irish Car of the Year, in partnership with Continental Tyres.

The event too place at the Conrad Hotel in Dublin and was organized by the Motoring Media Association of Ireland (MMAI), a consortium of over 30 motoring journalists from across Ireland.

This marks the fifth consecutive year an electric vehicle has won the Irish Car of the Year award, one of Ireland's longest-standing automotive accolades.

Daragh Keany, Chairman of the MMAI, commented on the win: "Congratulations to Renault. The latest model is the fifth generation of the Scenic and the first fully electric version. Our jurors were particularly impressed with its driving performance, stylish design, and generous range options of 430 km and an extended 625 km model with 220 horsepower."

Tom Dennigan from Continental Tyres, the awards sponsor, added: "There were many strong contenders for this year's title, but the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric stood out with its distinctive design and the advantages of a zero-emissions vehicle. Winning this title provides a significant boost for Renault as they enter the busy January sales period."
