Grandland Shines Bright with DVN Lighting Award

Overview

The all-new Opel Grandland SUV has added another accolade to its growing list of awards, winning the Driving Vision News (DVN) Award 2025 in the “Best Front Lamps” category. This latest recognition highlights the cutting-edge Intelli-Lux HD lighting system, which offers enhanced safety and comfort for drivers.

Accepted by Philipp Roeckl, Global Lead Complex Lighting at Stellantis, at a ceremony in Munich, the award celebrates the Grandland’s advanced headlight technology, featuring over 50,000 individually controlled pixels. This system precisely adapts to traffic, cutting out oncoming vehicles while maintaining maximum illumination of the road and surroundings.

Key benefits include:

  • Improved visibility: Objects can be detected 30 to 40 meters earlier than with conventional headlights.
  • Adaptive performance: The light adjusts to corners, weather, and traffic signs to reduce glare for both the driver and others.
  • Enhanced design: The Opel 3D Vizor and illuminated Opel logo give the Grandland a distinctive, modern appearance, day and night.

The DVN network recognizes innovations in vehicle lighting and driver assistance, cementing the Grandland’s position as a leader in automotive lighting technology.
