The all-new Opel Grandland, available in hybrid and electric, is now on sale in Ireland

Overview

The all-new Opel Grandland has arrived in dealerships across Ireland, bringing a fresh design, cutting-edge technology, and a range of powertrain options, including hybrid and fully electric. Already a Golden Steering Wheel 2024 award winner, Opel’s new flagship SUV is available in SC, Elegance, and GS trims, with six colour options, including the striking new Impakt Copper and Spektrum Blue.

The Grandland Electric SC starts at €39,065 (including grants, plus delivery), while the Grandland Hybrid SC is priced from €40,995 (plus delivery). A plug-in hybrid variant will join the lineup in 2025, further expanding Opel’s electrified offering.

Designed for the Future

With a longer, wider stance and larger wheels than its predecessor, the new Grandland offers more space, increased rear legroom, and up to 1,645 litres of boot capacity. The interior features sustainable materials, with over 500kg of the car made from green or recycled components.

Externally, the Grandland makes a bold statement with its 3D front Vizor grille and illuminated Opel Blitz logo (GS trim), plus Intelli-Lux HD headlights with more than 50,000 lighting elements. At the rear, the illuminated Opel lettering is standard across all trims.

Technology & Features

Packed with advanced features, even the entry-level SC trim includes:

  • Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Keyless entry and start
  • Lane keep assist & driver drowsiness alert
  • 10” multimedia touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
  • 19” alloy wheels

Higher trims add extras like a power tailgate, heated front seats, a 16” navigation screen, ambient lighting, and Opel’s class-leading IntelliLux HD headlights.

Electrification Without Compromise

Opel is committed to providing powertrain choices while embracing an electrified future. The Grandland Hybrid features a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 21kW electric motor, delivering lower emissions and improved fuel efficiency. Meanwhile, the Grandland Electric offers a 73kWh battery with a 523km range and rapid 160kW DC charging. A 97kWh version with up to 700km range is set to arrive later this year.

Opel’s Take Charge programme continues to support EV buyers with finance incentives, discounted green electricity via Energia, and a free home charger. Customers also benefit from Opel’s unique peace-of-mind offer: a replacement ICE vehicle after six months if they decide full-electric driving isn’t for them.

Now Available for Test Drive

The new Opel Grandland is available to test drive at Opel dealerships nationwide. Competitive finance offers include 0% HP APR or 3.9% PCP APR across most Opel passenger cars, with the Grandland available from 3.9% APR.
