Ohme Joins Forces with SSE Airtricity as Smart EV Charging Partner

Ohme's smart chargers now integrated into SSE Airtricity’s tariffs and EnergiHub app

Cork-based smart charging company Ohme has been appointed as a trusted home EV charging partner for SSE Airtricity, a leading green energy provider in Ireland.

As part of this new partnership, SSE Airtricity will recommend Ohme EV chargers to its 750,000+ customers, supporting their transition to electric vehicles with smart, cost-effective charging solutions.

Ohme’s intelligent home EV chargers integrate seamlessly with all SSE Airtricity electricity tariffs, automatically adjusting charging times to take advantage of off-peak rates. This includes SSE Airtricity’s Smart EV Charge, which offers customers 8,000km of free EV charging and a super-low EV rate of 7.29c/kWh*.

In a first for the industry, Ohme chargers are now integrated into SSE Airtricity’s EnergiHub app, enabling users to maximize renewable energy usage and save up to €585 annually**. Once plugged in, EnergiHub optimizes overnight charging to reduce costs and boost sustainability.
