Features Nissan’s unique e-POWER Hybrid system
The new Nissan Qashqai has been updated with a refreshed design, upgraded technology, and the introduction of Nissan’s e-POWER system. A firm favourite on Irish roads, the latest Qashqai features a more modern and muscular exterior, enhanced interior design, and improved infotainment and connected services.
Since the introduction of the original Qashqai in 2007, nearly 60,000 units have been sold in Ireland, solidifying its position in the crossover segment. The updated model aims to continue this success with its bolder styling, including a redesigned front grille, reshaped headlights, and a sportier rear bumper. The Qashqai now integrates Google’s services within the Nissan Connect infotainment system, offering Google Maps and voice-activated controls via Google Assistant, as well as access to apps through Google Play.
The Around View Monitor (AVM) system has been upgraded to include a 3D function, providing multiple external viewpoints to assist drivers in spotting potential hazards. Additionally, a new 'invisible hood view' feature allows the driver to see the position of the front wheels, making it easier to navigate tight spaces.
Inside, the Qashqai offers a more premium feel, with upper trims featuring Alcantara® on various interior surfaces such as the dashboard and door inserts. The new model is available with Nissan's e-POWER system, which allows the vehicle to operate in electric mode using a petrol engine to charge the battery, providing an EV-like driving experience without the need for recharging.
Customers can also opt for the mild hybrid version, which uses a petrol engine and a lithium battery to lower fuel consumption and support the vehicle’s electrical systems.
The Qashqai 1.3 Mild Hybrid starts at €39,900 for the SV grade and increases with additional trim levels and transmission options. The e-POWER variant is available from €45,000 for the entry-level SV grade, with higher-grade options also available.
Standard features across the range include alloy wheels, LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and a range of safety technologies such as rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and intelligent forward collision warning.
