Expected to arrive in Ireland by the end of the year
Peugeot have unveiled the New E-5008, setting a new standard as the only all-electric SUV offering space for 7 passengers and up to 660 km of electric range. Built on the STLA Medium platform with a battery made in France, the E-5008 caters to customers seeking a spacious SUV with bold design, a welcoming interior, and efficient electric performance.
The E-5008 boasts:
Designed as an electric model from the start, the E-5008 offers zero-emission motors with a range of 500 to 660 km (WLTP cycles pending approval), including AWD Dual Motor and Long Range versions. For customers transitioning to electrification, PEUGEOT also offers the E-5008 with a hybrid engine option. The E-5008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 features the PEUGEOT HYBRID 48V system, combining a new-generation 136 hp petrol engine with an electric motor integrated into a dual-clutch six-speed gearbox. With a battery that charges while driving, this technology provides extra torque at low revs and reduces fuel consumption by up to 15% (5.7 l/100 km in WLTP mixed cycle - WLTP cycle pending approval). In urban driving, the new E-5008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 can operate in 100% electric mode for up to 50% of the time, emitting zero emissions.
