A major milestone in the brand’s growing presence in the Irish commercial vehicle market

Overview

MAN Importers Ireland has officially sold its 1,000th MAN TGE van, a significant achievement for the brand in the Irish market. The milestone vehicle was delivered to D&D Window & Door Services Limited, who collected it from MAN Importers Ireland’s headquarters in Dublin.

A trusted name in the Irish transport sector, MAN Importers Ireland has been the exclusive distributor of MAN trucks, buses, and vans for over 35 years. Since its launch in 2017, the MAN TGE has built a strong reputation among Irish businesses for its reliability, efficiency, and driver comfort, making it a go-to choice for a wide range of commercial applications.

A Special Milestone for MAN & D&D Window & Door Services

The landmark vehicle was collected by Darren Hynes, Director of D&D Windows & Doors, a company specialising in the refurbishment of timber windows and doors across Dublin and surrounding areas. To mark the occasion, Darren was presented with a special goody bag in recognition of his company’s purchase of the 1,000th TGE.

The van was financed through TRATON Financial Services, with MAN Account Manager, Simon Lynskey, commenting:
"Congratulations to all the team here at MAN Importers on reaching this incredible milestone, and to Darren and David on their brand-new vehicle. We’re especially proud to mark this moment as one of the first sales under MAN Finance Ireland, now part of TRATON Financial Services."
