20th anniversary of the long running partnership
This year's Dublin Horse Show marks a significant milestone for the Land Rover Defender, celebrating twenty years of sponsoring the Defender Puissance event. This renowned event will take place on Saturday, 17th August, at the Dublin Horse Show.
To commemorate the occasion, Defender has expanded its presence at the show. From the 14th to the 18th of August, visitors can explore the Family Area, where children can experience a unique drive in Mini Defenders. This interactive activity allows young attendees to drive miniature Defenders on a specially designed course, providing an engaging introduction to vehicle handling.
On Saturday, 17th August, Defender owners are invited to enjoy complimentary refreshments in The Defender Lounge before attending the Defender Puissance event in the Main Arena.
The Dublin Horse Show is Ireland's premier equestrian event, and the Defender Puissance is a highlight of the competition. The event features a challenging wall jump, starting at 1.80 meters and progressively increasing to 2.20 meters, culminating in a thrilling knockout round.
Melanie McCourt, Marketing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Ireland, commented, "We are pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with the Dublin Horse Show and the RDS. The Defender Puissance is a key event in both the equestrian and social calendar, and we are proud to celebrate twenty years of supporting this world-class event that plays a vital role in equestrian sports in Ireland."
