First all-electric version of Europe’s best-selling compact crossover

Overview

Ford has introduced the all-electric Puma Gen-E, marking a milestone as the brand's best-selling car in Europe now offers a zero-emissions option. This model combines the Puma's signature sporty design and practicality with an energy-efficient electric powertrain.

The Puma Gen-E boasts an efficiency rating of 13.1 kWh/100 km and offers up to 376 km on a full charge, with a city range extending to 523 km. Fast-charging capabilities allow for a 10-80% charge in just 23 minutes, while the vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.0 seconds, bringing the dynamic spirit of the Puma ST to an electric platform.

Innovative Design and Enhanced Storage The Puma Gen-E’s compact electric powertrain frees up space, expanding the MegaBox boot to a larger GigaBox, offering 574 litres of storage—outperforming many SUVs. Additionally, a 43-litre front trunk (frunk) provides convenient storage for smaller items.

Externally, the Puma Gen-E introduces an aerodynamic “shield” grille inspired by the Ford Mustang Mach-E, alongside sporty alloy wheels and a rear spoiler to enhance efficiency.

Modern Interior and Advanced Connectivity Inside, dual high-definition displays with Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system provide seamless navigation and connectivity, including wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Alexa integration. The cabin also features a raised centre console with enhanced storage, wireless phone charging, and customizable comfort with a sliding armrest.

Driving Ease and Intelligent Technology Drivers can enjoy selectable one-pedal driving, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and Lane Centring. For urban convenience, a 360-degree camera and advanced LED headlights improve visibility and maneuvering in tight spaces.

Sustainably Built and Ready for Order Manufactured at Ford Otosan’s plant in Romania with electric components from Halewood, UK, the Puma Gen-E reinforces Ford's commitment to electric mobility. The model is available for order now, with deliveries starting in spring 2025.
