Castlebar Dealership scoops prestigious global award from Kia

Overview

Edward Conway Motors, located in Breaffy Retail Park, Castlebar, has been honored with the prestigious title of ‘2024 Global Best Dealer’ and awarded ‘Kia Platinum Prestige’ status. This exclusive recognition is part of Kia’s global dealer excellence program, which celebrates top-performing dealerships worldwide. Dealers are assessed based on their previous year's performance in key areas, including customer service, facilities, staff training and development, sales success, and market share. Edward Conway Motors is the only Irish dealership to receive this accreditation, joining an elite group of just 96 winners across 36 countries, including only 21 in Europe.

Padraic Conway, Dealer Principal of Edward Conway Motors, expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am extremely honoured to have achieved this award on behalf of the team here in Castlebar. We have been in business since the 1980s thanks to our family-run, customer-centric approach that is always supported by great staff. Kia is currently Ireland’s fifth best-selling car brand and the top-selling electric vehicle brand in 2025. Their lineup includes ten models: Picanto, Stonic, Ceed, XCeed, Niro, Sportage, Sorento, EV3, EV6, and EV9.
