Over 90 golfers hit the course in the sun
Last week, CarsIreland.ie, in partnership with Carzone and Cartell.ie, hosted its highly anticipated annual Golf Outing at the stunning Killeen Castle. The event, a beloved tradition for many years, brought together a fantastic group of loyal customers, industry professionals, and golf enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition, networking, and relaxation on one of Ireland’s premier courses.
Nestled in the heart of County Meath, Killeen Castle offered the perfect backdrop for the event, with its rolling greens and picturesque views creating an unforgettable setting. Attendees were treated to perfect weather, further elevating the experience as they made their way through the challenging and beautifully maintained course.
The day wasn’t just about golf, though. It was a celebration of the strong relationships built over the years, bringing together familiar faces and welcoming new ones into the Motion community. Between rounds, there were plenty of opportunities to catch up, share stories, and enjoy the camaraderie that events like this foster.
Of course, no golf outing is complete without a few friendly competitions. Throughout the day, players tested their skills in various challenges, from longest drive to closest to the pin. The competition was fierce, but in the end, a select few managed to secure their place in the winners’ Hall of Fame, earning not just bragging rights but some fantastic prizes as well.
As the sun began to set, the day wrapped up with a prize-giving ceremony and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated. The organizers are already hard at work planning next year's outing, which promises to be even bigger and better.
Check out some of the highlights from the day below, including photos of the course, action shots from the players, and, of course, our Hall of Fame winners who truly shone on the day. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for another unforgettable day on the green!
