Renowned for their cutting-edge technology and bold design, these vehicles are set to redefine luxury and performance in the automotive industry.

Yangwang U8

The Yangwang U8 is a hybrid all-terrain SUV, equipped with a 49.05 kWh BYD Blade battery and four permanent electric motors delivering 295bhp each, supplemented by a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This combination results in a formidable 1,200 bhp, allowing the U8 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 199.5 km/h. Built on BYD’s e4 Platform, it features advanced safety and performance technologies, including a Vehicle Stabilisation System, emergency flotation function, and DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control for increased ground clearance and 180-degree tank-turns.

Yangwang U9

On the other hand, the YANGWANG U9 is a pure-electric supercar that combines stunning aesthetics with high performance. Powered by an 80 kWh BYD Blade battery and four electric motors producing a total of 1,300 hp, the U9 can achieve a top speed of 309.19 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.36 seconds. It also boasts a range of 450 km and features fast DC charging, allowing it to charge from 30% to 80% in only 10 minutes. The U9's e4 Platform and DiSus-X Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System ensure superior agility and traction control.

Ciaran Allen, Sales Director of Motor Distributors Limited, highlighted the groundbreaking nature of these models, emphasizing BYD’s leadership in automotive technology and innovation.

These introductions highlight BYD’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive design and technology, promising to bring these advanced features to mainstream production in the future.
