Audi update e-tron GT

Audi introduce first fully electric RS performance model

Overview

Audi has expanded its e-tron GT lineup with three new variants: the Audi S e-tron GT, the Audi RS e-tron GT, and the Audi RS e-tron GT Performance. These new models, available for order starting June 20, 2024, promise significant enhancements in range, performance, and charging capabilities, along with advanced suspension for a balanced driving experience.
The Audi e-tron GT, since its debut in 2021, has been a flagship electric sports model, combining striking design with powerful performance and dynamic handling. The new iterations continue this legacy, introducing Audi's first fully electric RS performance model.

Distinctive Design and Enhanced Performance
Each variant of the e-tron GT series features a unique design and innovative technology. The Audi S e-tron GT exemplifies elegant sportiness, with a homogeneous and expressive front end, a distinctive Singleframe grille, and optimized airflow around the front wheels. The rear end showcases an aerodynamic diffuser with vertical fins and a body-color inlay.
The Audi RS e-tron GT adopts a more radical look, with a 3D honeycomb structure in the Singleframe grille and motorsport-inspired elements like L-shaped blades and a streamlined diffuser. The RS e-tron GT Performance stands out with optional matte carbon roof and exclusive carbon camouflage elements.

Interior: Sporty and Sustainable
The interior of the new e-tron GT models features redesigned seats, steering wheel, and digital content. Sustainable materials like Dinamica microfiber and Cascade fabric are used extensively, with recycled polyester components. The RS models offer additional luxury with optional massage functions and unique design packages.

Advanced Technology and Connectivity
Audi's virtual cockpit now includes new features for battery management and RS-specific displays. An optional panoramic glass roof with polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) technology allows for adjustable transparency, enhancing the driving experience.

Improved Electric Performance
All variants use permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PSM) on the front and rear axles, offering outputs of up to 680 kW in the RS e-tron GT Performance. The models boast impressive acceleration, with the RS e-tron GT Performance reaching 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Audi has also optimized the braking system, with options for carbon-fiber ceramic discs.

Efficient Battery and Charging
The high-voltage battery has been lightened and now offers a gross capacity of 105 kWh. With increased energy density and improved recuperation, the e-tron GT family achieves a range of up to 605 km. Charging efficiency has been enhanced, with the ability to charge from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes and gain a range of 280 kilometers in just 10 minutes at high-power charging stations.

Advanced Suspension and Handling
The new air suspension system offers a perfect balance between comfort and dynamic driving. The Audi drive select system provides multiple driving modes, including RS-specific modes for the RS models. Optional all-wheel steering improves agility and stability.

Pricing and Availability
The new Audi e-tron GT models are now available for order. Prices start at €139,635 for the S e-tron GT, €163,395 for the RS e-tron GT, and €177,650 for the RS e-tron GT Performance.
