Fans of the original Renault 5 will be pleased to see the return of a motoring icon, albeit in a slightly different format.

The Renault 5 E-Tech electric, born from the Renaulution strategy, embodies the brand's industrial renewal and electric shift. Developed in just three years, it combines a heart-winning design, innovative features, and a circular production system, aiming to set new standards in city cars for the energy transition.

The electric model retains the emotional design of its iconic predecessor, with a 'retrofuturistic' style, nods to the original's mischievous elements, and modern aerodynamics. The interior welcomes users with a 10.1" touchscreen, collaborative sound and graphic design with Jean-Michel Jarre, and an AC bidirectional charger supporting V2L and V2G technologies.

Unique in Europe, the Renault 5 E-Tech electric is built on the AmpR Small platform, allowing a flat floor, extended wheelbase, optimized interior space, and a reduced weight of less than 1,500 kg. The platform supports a bidirectional charger for innovative energy ecosystem participation, offering significant electricity bill savings.

With a compact yet powerful motor, the car provides a range of up to 400 km WLTP, exceptional driving pleasure, and versatility for city and open-road driving. The experience is enhanced by cutting-edge technologies, including connectivity with Google, an intelligent travel companion named Reno, safety features from higher market segments, and a user-friendly charging ecosystem provided by Mobilize.

Renault 5 E-Tech electric reflects Renault's commitment to making advanced technology accessible to all, emphasizing practical benefits for comfort and safety, further positioning itself as a key player in the electric transition of the automotive market.
