Alfa Romeo Announces Irish Pricing for Junior Ibrida Hybrid
Alfa Romeo has confirmed pricing for the Junior Ibrida, the hybrid version of its compact SUV, in the Irish market. The entry-level Ibrida is priced at €34,995, identical to the Elettrica full-electric version, which was officially launched in Ireland last month. This pricing strategy gives customers the flexibility to choose their preferred powertrain—hybrid or electric—without compromising on the brand’s signature blend of sportiness and efficiency.
The Junior Speciale Ibrida is powered by a 136-hp 48-V Hybrid VGT (Variable-Geometry Turbo) powertrain, combining a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 21-kW electric motor integrated into a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. This advanced hybrid setup allows the Junior Ibrida to drive in full-electric mode over 50% of the time in urban environments, enhancing efficiency while reducing emissions. It can also operate in electric mode at speeds of up to 150 km/h, improving fuel economy without sacrificing performance.
The Junior Ibrida retains the sharp styling and premium features that define the Alfa Romeo Junior lineup. Standard equipment includes:
Exterior: Leggenda scudetto grille, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, gloss black mirror caps, LED headlights and taillights
Interior: Icona seats with black/blue cloth, ambient lighting, 10.25-inch Cannocchiale digital instrument cluster, and a driver-focused 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Safety & Assistance: Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, rear parking sensors, e-Call, and Alfa Romeo Connected Services
At an international media event, Alfa Romeo also introduced the Junior Ibrida Q4, an all-wheel-drive version that offers greater control and performance in all conditions. This variant pairs the 1.2-litre turbo engine with two electric motors, delivering 145 hp while maintaining efficiency and minimizing weight. The MultiLink rear suspension enhances comfort and driving dynamics.
The Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida is now available to order in Ireland, with first deliveries expected later this year. Pricing for the Q4 all-wheel-drive version will be announced at a later date.
